MWB Support Clubs
Mothers Without Borders Support Clubs (formerly called Local Family Service Chapters) provide the opportunity for individuals to support our international work and develop local projects to benefit vulnerable children in their own community. Members of a Support Club will gather in a local setting and discuss our international projects, explore local and international volunteer opportunities and determine the best way for their club to support this vital work.
Support Clubs provide an opportunity for you and your family to contribute to the betterment of your own community while supporting our efforts to serve vulnerable children around the world.
Support Clubs build bridges between those who desire to help and the children whose need is greatest. Support Clubs provide:
- Opportunities for meaningful service at home and abroad.
- Fundraising to support projects identified by Mothers Without Borders' field offices.
- Increased awareness of the global orphan crisis and how you can be part of the solution.
We currently have Support Clubs in: Arizona, California, Colorado, Massachusetts, Missouri, Utah, Vermont & Washington. New clubs are forming every day! Starting a club is easy! Please refer to the FAQ for more information.
If you would like to start a club in your area, may we suggest you contact someone who's already begun one and get ideas and suggestions from them? Those who are DOING are best equipped to answer your questions. A few of the existing web sites are listed below. The FAQ will give you some general guidelines.
Most important, be creative and have fun. Thank you for caring!
