Kathy Headlee-Miner
Kathy Headlee-Miner is the founder of Mothers Without Borders and has been involved with relief and community service work since 1989. She has organized and implemented community development projects and volunteer expeditions to Romania, Mexico, India, Indonesia, Bolivia, Zambia and Zimbabwe. She and her husband Phillip spend several months a year living in Africa where they oversee a variety of projects from MWB Regional HQ in Lusaka. Kathy is the mother of 7 children, and grandmother of 3.
Christy Blodgett
Christy Blodgett recently retired after 36 years in the medical field. For the last several years she was the Corporate Administrator for a large physician group. She has served as a volunteer for Mothers Without Borders for the past two years and has also been involved with various fundraising endeavors. She is deeply committed to furthering the long term efforts for the children of Zambia. She and her husband Bob (who accompanies her to Zambia as a volunteer) live in Sandy, Utah. They have four children and three grandchildren.
B.J. Warnick
B. J. Warnick worked in the data communications industry for 23 years prior to resigning her V.P.Sales position so that she could devote more of her time to her family and to the children of Zambia. As a Mothers Without Borders Volunteer, she has served as a team leader, organized and runs the annual fund raising Boutique for the foundation and helped create the african merchandise website to benefit Mothers Without Borders. She and her husband Kent reside in Utah and are the parents of 3 children. Mothers Without Borders is definetely a family affair!
Carolyn Sharette
Carolyn Sharette is the founder and Executive Director of American Preparatory Schools. APS is an award-winning system of schools with over 1,000 students in grades K-9. There are currently 2 campuses in Utah and the organization continues to expand. Carolyn is also a Registered Nurse, and has been involved with MWB since its inception, assisting with projects and as a member of the Board of Directors. Carolyn and her husband Dave, live in Sandy, Utah and are the parents of one daughter and six sons.
Sandra Peters
Sandra Peters is a Human Resource executive for The Southland Corporation dealing with personnel, training, employee relations and security for the eleven western states. In this position, she was in the top 1% of Southland management. Prior to joining Southland, Sandra worked for Reed Irrigation Systems, Sperry Univac, and had her own consulting firm all in the Human Resource area. Since 1988, she has been the Chairman of Resort Retailers, Inc., operating nine convenience stores in Park City, Heber City, and Morgan, UT. In her spare time, she enjoys travel, sports, and volunteering for Mothers Without Borders.
